Faith Formation
Welcome to St. Theresa of Avila Faith Formation
We are delighted that you are considering Faith Formation at St. Theresa of Avila. Our mission is to partner with parents in nurturing the faith of our children and youth, helping them grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and become active members of the Catholic Church. We look forward to walking with your family on this faith journey through prayer, learning, worship, and the sacraments.
2026–2027 Faith Formation Registration
Registration for the 2026–2027 Faith Formation year will close on July 14, 2026, or when all student slots have been filled. Tuition must be paid in full at the time of registration.

Requirements
To register for Faith Formation at St. Theresa of Ávila, families must:
- Be registered members of St. Theresa of Ávila Parish on or before June 6, 2026
- Provide a copy of the student’s Birth Certificate
- Provide a copy of the student’s Baptism Certificate
- For Confirmation candidates, provide a copy of the student’s First Communion Certificate
Tuition Fees
- Grade 2 (First Communion Preparation): $50
- Grades 7–9 (Confirmation Preparation): $60
- Grades 1 and 3–6 (Faith Formation): $40
St. John School 2nd Grade Students: $10 Sacramental Fee
Children with Special Needs
St. Theresa of Avila welcomes all children to participate in our Faith Formation and Sacramental Preparation programs.
If your child has special needs, please contact the Parish Office and ask for Angela Tovar. We would be happy to discuss your child’s individual needs and any accommodations that may help support their full participation in our program.

Confirmation Registration
Please note that all 7th, 8th and 9th grade students will prepare to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation during this year’s Faith Formation program.
Students in 10th and 11th grade who have not yet received the Sacrament of Confirmation are also welcome to register and prepare to receive the sacrament this year.
